Cyclones
Cyclones are Typhoon Motors with trued laminations and commutators that have been meticulously static balanced. They are a direct replacement for all TFX/Aurora Thunderjet/AFX/MT chassis, .0635" shaft diameter. Similar aftermarket chassis may have smaller armature holes in the gearplate and may require reaming for proper fit. Checkout the Specs page below for more details.
Cyclones are Typhoon Motors with trued laminations and commutators that have been meticulously static balanced. Static balancing involves balancing about the armature shaft. Static Balanced motors (Cyclones) are fine for stock TFX chassis running Gray Dragon magnets. Cyclones are available in the normal TFX/Tjet ohm range of 16-20 ohms. They are not available in 5.5 and 14.5 ohm. They are not recommended in any chassis when running Black Dragon or similar strength magnets. Cyclones are designed for use in our TFX Chassis. They are also a direct replacement for all AuroraThunderjet/AFX/MT chassis. Similar aftermarket chassis may have smaller armature holes in the gearplate and may require reaming for proper fit.
