LPC Stock Chassis utilizes the following features:

- 1-1/8" width and lowered chassis combined with .340" front tires and .352" rear tires makes bodied cars look more realistic.  The LPC sits lower than the TFX and is lower than any other pancake style chassis.
- 9 Gear Colors for incredible contrast with the Black Chassis (except Black - no contrast).
- Three wheelbases.  It utilizes the same wheelbases as the Aurora Thunderjet with all three mounts at the same height.
- The LPC Stock chassis can be used with either Aurora style screw-on bodies or any snap-on LifeLike (LL) style body.  To use the chassis utilizing screws the side LL mounts need to be cut off.  To use the chassis utilizing the LL mounting system the chassis can be used without any required cutting.  BUT, if the LL body being mounted is the LL Indy body, the rear two screw mounting tabs will need to be removed.  This means that once the chassis is set up for screw-on or Indy LL bodies the chassis can only be used for that body from that point on.

Chassis

- Black color for incredible contrast with all colored parts.
- Three wheelbases.  It utilizes the same wheelbases as the Aurora Thunderjet with all three mounts at the same height.
- Solid cross members provide rigid stability and ensures the chassis is straight.
 AFX style shoes.
- Specially designed pickup shoe spring fits into a recess in the chassis that helps hold the spring in place when installing shoes. Sets the Shoe tension to 2.0-2.2 grams when the shoes are adjusted.
- Front axle holes allow for long, medium and short wheelbases.
- Recesses to help remove the magnets.
- Slots in the clamp to assist in removal.
- Snap-in rear axle allows gear ratio changes without having to remove pinion gears.  Also allows for easy cleaning of the axle.  Use the 15T for fast middle lanes and the 19T for tight outside lanes. 16T-18T are also available to expand the range between the 15T and 19T gears.
- Snap-in guide pin.  No glue required.  Remove the pin without removing the body.
- Shorter rear deck for more body room.  Shorter and lower than even the TFX chassis.
- OS3 LPC Brushes at .052" are mounted over OS3 Cones (brush springs) to provide electrical power to the commutator.  The Cones provide the correct pressure on the brushes and can compress completely flat for the lowest stance possible.
- Recess for a tapered flat head front screw.  The chassis requires a 1-72 or OS3 S2-56 screw to be able to clear the track.  Separates the body mounting from the guide pin so the guide pin or body can be removed independent of each other.

Gearplate

- 3 point mounting system with 2 point resting points to provide rigidity for the gearplate.  The front mounting point floats, the middle of the gearplate rests on the rear magnet and the back of the gearplate is locked into position with a pressure post and a locking mount on the 3rd Idler post.  3 Mounting posts can be adjusted with pliers to tighten the fit if desired.
- Gearplate is removed by placing a small screwdriver or finger nail under the rear edge of the gearplate to pry the gearplate off of the two locking mounts.
-Recesses to help remove the 3 idler gears.
- Slanted front with completely recessed gear pocket to restict oil to the gears and axle holes.  Oil will not ooze off the side of the rails.
- Rear gear is reduced to 11T and the length is shortened to allow more body room.
- Gearplate can be easily swapped.  All Gearplates fit the same.

Typhoon Motor

- Available in only an 11 ohm version for the LPC.  The motor is shorter in length so it will not fit in any other chassis.  No other pancake style motor will fit in the LPC.
Arm shaft shorter than the chassis bottom to allow easy oiling without fouling the brushes.
- Copper commutator.

Magnets

- Black Dragon magnets are the only magnets recommended for the 11 ohm motor.  Stronger magnets will bog down the motor and weaker magnets will increase the generated heat and reduce the downforce.  Since the LPC operates like a 4 Gear chassis the magnets need to be reversed just like a 4 Gear Aurora chassis.  In the LPC the magnet with the white dots must reside in the rear pocket.

Gears/Ratio

- Plastic top, pinion and crown gears.
- 11-16-16-11-15 gear train provides the same gear ratio as an Aurora Magna-Traction when figuring in the tires diameter difference.
- There is little difference in track times noticed between 15 and 19 tooth gears but the 19 tooth gear may allow the motor to run cooler and provide for a easy driving experience.  It all depends on driving skill, lane being run and track style.
- Crowns were designed to mesh with an 11 tooth pinion.  Reducing the required rules for racing.
- No replacement parts are necessary.
- Gear mesh is great with stock gears.  No sanding or polishing is required.  Machine marks on the gears make it easy to ensure they are stock.
- Crown gear is tucked into the chassis.  Cutting the OD down does not allow the car to be lowered any further.
- Magnets fit without sanding. Paint scheme on the magnets make it difficult to duplicate.  Sanding is easily apparent.
- Stock tire size provides a very low stance.  Lowering a few thousandths more causes deslotting.
- Rear tires provide excellent grip and are designed specifically for the TFX/LPC Stock rear wheels.
- Gearplate rails don't need to be cut to allow bodies to fit better.
- Idler posts are a perfect fit for the idler gears and do not need adjustment.
- Gearplate fit provides perfect alignment of the geartrain and does not need to be adjusted.
- Wheel holes are perfect and do not need to be peened or reamed to work with any OS3 Stock Stainless Steel axles.
- Armature holes have been dialed in to be perfect.  Absolutely no reaming or peening is needed or recommended.  Changing the dimension will cause problems with performance.
