LPC Typhoon Motors
The LPC Typhoons are ONLY available in an 11 ohm version. They ONLY fit the OS3 LPC chassis. Other OS3 Pancake motors and similar will not fit the LPC.

The 11 ohm LPC Typhoon runs very well in the LPC chassis. Testing has shown that static and dynamically balanced versions do NOT provide a more driveable or faster chassis. Balanced motors will not be provided for this motor.
OS3 LPC 11 ohm Typhoons are wrapped on Green-Coated 3-Lam Blanks with copper wire. Axle and Lamination ODs match the Aurora Gray-Lam motors. The balance on these motors is very good but is not guaranteed. A .015" thick black spacer is attached to the lower shaft to maintain the distance from the commutator to the chassis bottom. They are ABSOLUTELY mandatory. Running the motor without them may ruin the chassis by pushing the brushes and springs out the bottom and bend the metal tabs. DO NOT EVER run these motors without this OS3 spacer. ONLY OS3 LPC MOTOR SPACERS will work. The brush tension was calculated using these exact spacers. The ONLY magnets that are recommended to run these motors are OS3 Black Dragons.
